Mayfield, KY – A former Livingston County Middle School teacher has been sentenced on charges related to videotaping underneath cheerleaders' skirts at a Mayfield basketball game last February. 52-year-old Steve McCuiston will serve five years probation instead of jail time. He pleaded guilty to eavesdropping and tampering with evidence: both felony charges. He was originally charged with voyeurism, but it was later dropped after his case was found to not meet the statute's requirements of having photographed bare breasts or genitals. The Paducah Sun reports since McCuiston's teaching license has expired and he is now a convicted felon; he will never teach again.
