Paducah, KY – McCracken County School officials have made the last step in purchasing land for a planned consolidated high school. Yesterday the county Board of Education approved trading 13-point-3 acres next to Heath High School in exchange for 2-point-8 acres it needs off U-S 60. The Paducah Sun reports the agreement settles a condemnation suit the board filed last spring against property owner James Enlow. The district's consolidated school will combine Heath, Lone Oak, and Reidland high school students when it is completed sometime in 2012.
