Murray, KY – Murray State University will play host to world-renowned human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu next year. Tutu is the 2010 Presidential Lecture Series speaker. Beginning with his opposition to apartheid in South Africa, Tutu has worked to end racial division throughout the world. The retired archbishop has become a symbol of peace, justice, and democracy. He speaks on campus February 22.
