Murray, KY – Calloway County Schools Superintendent Steve Hoskins announced his retirement at last night's school board meeting. Hoskins has served as superintendent for six years. Spokesman David Dowdy says school officials are already working to establish a six person screening committee for applicants. Dowdy says the plan is to have a new superintendent hired by the end of the fiscal year in June. Hoskins will stay on through July 31 to help train his replacement.
