Cadiz, KY – The Kentucky Supreme Court must now decide whether or not to hear a Trigg County alcohol case. The county's Montgomery precinct wants to hold another alcohol referendum following last year's county-wide vote. However, they may not have jurisdiction to do so. Alcohol-advocacy group Grow Trigg has filed a motion to bypass the Kentucky Court of Appeals and send the issue directly to the Supreme Court. The County had thirty days to file a reply, but had not done so by the deadline this weekend. Officials are not sure how soon the Supreme Court will issue a decision.
