Clarksville, TN – Clarksville City Council members are expected to vote today on a policy that will govern its own iPad usage. This year's budget included just under $10,000 in funding for the Paperless Council Project, a measure that will provide iPads for each member to save money on paper. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the policy's rough draft had a clause that would hold a council member financially responsible for loss or damage, but that language has been deleted from the policy the council will vote on today. Ward 10 Councilman Bill Summers says he plans to amend some financial safeguards back in.
