Frankfort, KY – One of Senator Mitch McConnell's top aides and political advisers is leaving his office. Billy Piper says he will resign December 31st to pursue opportunities outside government service. Piper had joined McConnell's staff in 1991 as special assistant
and held a variety of positions over the years. He was named chief of staff in 2002, a position he has held since. In an issued statement Piper says serving Kentucky and McConnell has been "the absolute honor."
