Bardwell, KY – Carlisle County's new Health Department has power again after a dispute between Bardwell officials and a utility shutoff the building's electricity over the weekend. Bardwell Electric transferred the building's service to West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Saturday, but the utility wouldn't turn the power on because the County had yet to sign its membership application. West Kentucky Rural restored power to the building Monday morning. Judge-Executive Greg Terry tells the Paducah Sun he wouldn't sign the agreement without first getting approval from board members.
