Madisonville, KY – Hopkins County Fiscal Court members are interviewing a second round of candidates today for the county's community development director job. The position was created in late December to replace one part time and two full time positions, which were eliminated. Former magistrate Jon Garrett was the pick for the job, but backed out. Judge-Executive Donnie Carroll tells the Madisonville Messenger four candidates will meet with the search committee today. He says more interviews will be scheduled, but he's not sure how many. Carroll says a hiring announcement could come in late March.
