Clarksville, TN – Clarksville's Power Board yesterday voted to budget nearly $375,000 to remodel the CDE Lightband headquarters. Superintendent Johnny Piper says the update will be the building's first since the 1980's. The remodel will separate bill payers from those seeking customer services. The building is located on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and sees some 17,000 customers monthly. Piper tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle the project will be funded from a separate engineering project that was over-budgeted by $750,000.
