Weather Damage Reports

By Todd Hatton

Murray, KY – Last night's severe weather brought high winds and reports of hail through the area. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says wind brought down trees in Carlisle, Calloway, Christian, Henderson, and McCracken counties. Falling trees blocked roads throughout the area, with more than fifteen toppling in Calloway County alone. Todd says crews were out overnight clearing roadways and are still working to clear downed power lines on the southbound lanes of US 41 Alternate near the 10 mile marker south of Hopkinsville. Officials warn to be on the lookout for debris on the road, if you're getting out this morning,
