Associated Press Calls Hollenbach Win

Kentucky – The Associated Press reports, Kentucky State Treasurer Todd Hollenbach has won the Democratic primary over western Kentucky businessman Steve Hamrick. With 52 percent of precincts reporting as of 6:50 PM Tuesday, Hollenbach had 55,826 votes, or 72 percent, to western Kentucky businessman Steve Hamrick's 21,638 votes, or 28 percent. Hollenbach will face Lexington councilwoman KC Crosbie, an unopposed Republican, and Libertarian Ken Moellman of Caddo in the fall election. The treasurer serves as the state's top financial officer.
