Knoxville, TN – Tennessee Valley Authority rates in June will be slightly higher due to an increase in fuel costs. The utility used pricier replacement power during last month's devastating tornadoes and storms. Those higher prices will be reflected in bills starting in July. Beginning next month, residential customers can expect an increase between 10 cents and 50 cents, depending on their usage levels.
