Trigg County, KY – McCracken County Emergency Management Meteorologist Beau Dodson says Kentucky and Illinois residents "dodged a bullet" Wednesday as super cell storms caused extensive damage in Missouri but transformed into less dangerous squall lines as they crossed the Mississippi River. Damage was limited to rural instances, knocking over trees and downing power lines. Some area residents remain without power, while a few lost their homes. The Paducah Sun reports one home in Cadiz was destroyed after a giant oak tree crashed through it. Luckily no one was injured the incident.
