Primary Elections Certified

By Tony McVeigh

Kentucky – Kentucky's Secretary of State certified the results of Kentucky's May 17th primary Monday. The State Board of Elections took less than an hour to go over the numbers and certify the tallies. Secretary of State Elaine Walker says the only exception to the election night vote count was addressed in the re-canvass requested by Hilda Legg, contender for the Republican ticket for Secretary of State. Bill Johnson of Todd County defeated Legg, and now faces Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in November.
