Murray, KY – Mayfield Elementary School is one of 21 recipients of the North American Music Manufacturers Foundation "Wanna Play Fund" Grant. The grant provides funds for music instruments, education and opportunities for musical instruction. The NAMM foundation and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee created the program in 2009. Mayfield Elementary Music Teacher Brooke Suiter says she hopes the money will help her children to experience a wide variety of music.
