Murray, KY – A trial date has been set for a local man accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the McCracken County School District. Tommy Clement's trial will commence November 16th. Clement is accused of taking over $10,000 from the school district's transportation funds to buy tools and automotive parts for personal use. Clement's accomplice, Christopher Stamper of Marshall County has already pled guilty to the charges and will be sentenced soon. The West Kentucky Star reports the men are charged with theft of over $10, 000 and receipt of stolen property in excess of $10,000.
