Two Paducah Police Officers Resign

By Drew Adams

Murray, KY – Two Paducah police officers have resigned amidst allegations of sexual misconduct. The police department says officers Anthony Hughes and Christopher Hardin resigned after an internal affairs investigation found conduct unbecoming an officer while on duty. The West Kentucky Star reports one of the officers attempted to delete a portion of his in-car videotape to cover up an encounter. Paducah Police Chief James Berry was preparing to terminate the employment of both officers when they resigned.
