Jackson, TN – The University of Tennessee at Martin has opened a new 6 thousand square foot facility in Jackson. The building is the first location occupied solely by UT Martin in its 20 years of offering classes in the area. The Jackson Center has five classrooms, a computer lab, a library, and a biology lab. Degrees offered at the facility include a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, a Bachelor of University Studies and a Master of Science in Education. Jackson Center Director Bethany Worley says current UT Martin classes in the area will move to the new building on October 17th.
