Murray, KY – Kentucky's unemployment rate fell in October, but is still higher than the national average. The Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet says the figure fell to 9.6% in October, down slightly from the previous month, and about half a percent lower than this time last year. The office of Employment and Training says six of the leading job sectors saw an increase in October. The manufacturing sector saw the greatest increase with 2,900 jobs added.
