The world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator turns the energetic age of 4 today. The goal of the collider is to test theories of particle physics and the Higgs Boson particle, which may have been found last July. It will soon upgrade to the Super Large Hadron Collider, similar to Super Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Graves County Schools host a series of blood drives for the American Red Cross this week. Tomorrow’s blood drives will be held at Central, Fancy Farm, and Sedalia elementary schools.
