The Murray Community Kitchen serves lunch at no cost to anyone in need and is open every Sunday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, located at 503 Maple Street. The entrance is at the back of the church.

The Murray-Calloway County Parks and Recreation Department offers Red Cross authorized swimming lessons this summer. Session dates are June 22-26 and July 6-10. Registration for each of the five-day sessions is available at the park office, located at 900 Payne Street. Sessions are filled on a first-come basis with class size limits in each level.
