The Stewart County High School Band holds the March for Music 5K this Saturday morning at 10 at Dover City Park. Registration starts at 8:30, and the 5K begins at 10. Registration forms are also available at the March for Music 5K Facebook page.
Austin Peay State University holds “The Big Sing” tomorrow at 5:30 at the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall. The concert includes a wide range of vocal compositions performed by over 158 singers from APSU and Paducah Tilghman High School. The program includes the world premiere of “The Well-Closed Doors,” by Daniel Elder. Admission is free.
The Paducah-McCracken County Spring Clean Up Day is this Saturday from 7 to 2 at the Republic Services transfer station. The free service accepts household trash, white goods, tires, household hazardous waste, ammunition, prescription medications, fluorescent bulbs, and recyclables including batteries and e-scrap.
