The Paducah-McCracken County Spring Clean Up Day is this Saturday from 7 to 2 at the Republic Services transfer station. The free service accepts items including household trash, white goods, tires, household hazardous waste, ammunition, prescription medications, fluorescent bulbs, and recyclables.
The Stewart County High School Band holds the March for Music 5K this Saturday morning at 10 at Dover City Park. Registration starts at 8:30, and the 5K begins at 10. Registration forms are available on race day or in advance at the March for Music 5K Facebook page.
The Murray Art Guild holds the Art Hop this Saturday evening from 5 to 8 at various locations throughout Murray. Nine exhibits are on display at Gallery 109, the Miller Center, Calloway County Public Library, the Clara Eagle Galleries at Murray State, and the Curris Center Gallery. Admission is free, and free buses run between the exhibit locations.
