Update: The Brookport Bridge is back open after a brief closure Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier: Chief Deputy Mike Turnbow with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department said the Brookport Bridge will reopen by 3:30.
Turnbow said law enforcement are currently working to pull a body from the Ohio River.
The Sheriff's Department said the bridge that connects Paducah to Brookport, Illinois was closed due to an investigation that includes part of the bridge.
