Attorneys In Alleged Marshall County School Shooter Case Meet For Status Hearing

MATT MARKGRAF, WKMS

Attorneys in the case involving the alleged Marshall County High School shooter Gabe Parker met in Marshall County Friday for a status hearing.

Commonwealth Attorney Dennis Foust filed three motions last week regarding the trial date, jury selection and a list of evidence he plans on presenting out the trial. That evidence includes the alleged shooter’s statement to police and surveillance footage.

Marshall County Circuit Court Judge James Jameson last month denied a motion to suppress the alleged shooter’s statements made following the shooting.

The next status hearing is scheduled for February 14 at 1 p.m. The trial is projected for June 1 in Christian County.
