Sandy Linn speaks with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good about upcoming events at the Calloway County Public Library.
This Sunday, Linn and Sarah Hopley of Murray State University’s Pogue Library will present a genealogy workshop to train those interested in researching their family history how to use tools like Heritage Quest and Ancestory.com. On August 28, CCPL kicks off its 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge with live music. Linn says if kids read one book a night for 3 years they can meet the challenge. And the library’s book clubs start again in September.
