An automotive parts manufacturer in Bowling Green will add 90 jobs as a part of a $42 million investment in expanding operations.

Gov. Matt Bevin said in a release on Wednesday that Kobelco executives plan to add a new melting furnace, extrusion press and fabrication equipment.

Construction will start in January and production is expected to begin in the first half of 2020. The plant manufactures aluminum bumper and sub-frame materials.

The facility opened in February 2017.
