Carson Center to Host 13th Annual Distiller's Dinner Featuring New TN Bourbon

www.thecarsoncenter.org

The Carson Center in Paducah, KY will be hosting their 13th annual Distiller's Dinner, which raises funds for the non-profit performing center. Development director, Debbie Wattier, and chef of Artisan Kitchen, Karla Lawrence, visit Sounds Good to provide details of the event.

Since 2004, the Carson Center has hosted an annual fundraising dinner which features bourbon, music, and cuisine of the bluegrass state. The 13th Distiller's Dinner will be branching out this year, however, to Tennessee. The featured guest of this year's fundraiser is Andy Nelson of Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, located in Nashville, TN. Nelson's family history of making bourbon can be traced back to 1835, and their unique Belle Meade bourbon flavor, known for its spicy high rye content, is unmatched around the world.
The dinner will be catered by Artisan Kitchen, and cuisine will center around Tennessee staples (Goo Goo clusters, banana pudding, and backwater moonshine, to name a few). Beverage options will include Green Brier Distillery's Belle Meade bourbon, house wine and beer, or coffee. Guests will also get the opportunity to hear Nelson share his impressive family history and visit with him throughout the night. The Distiller's Dinner takes place on the Carson Center's beautiful main stage, and musical entertainment will be provided by the Eddy Grove trio.
To purchase tickets or find more information about the event, visit the Carson Center's website.
