Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has hired a former Alison Lundergan Grimes senate campaign staffer.
Elizabeth Cantrell Brooks will serve as state director of Clinton’s Kentucky campaign ahead of next month’s primary.
Brooks worked for Grimes’ unsuccessful Senate bid in 2014.
Clinton’s campaign also brought on former Kentucky Democratic Party Political Director Christian Motley, who worked under former governor Steve Beshear’s 2011 re-election campaign.
The commonwealth’s presidential primary is May 17th.
