kentuckyopry.com

The Gibson Brothers were voted 2013 Entertainers of the Year at the IBMA World of Bluegrass 24th Annual Awards Show in Raleigh, N.C. On Sounds Good, Tracy Ross speaks with Eric Gibson who was named the Songwriter of the Year that same year, in advance of the Gibson Brothers performing at the Kentucky Opry next week. Draffenville's own Clayton Campbell is also in the band.

Gibson Brothers at the Opry: April 10, 7:30 p.m.

The Kentucky Opry had a humble beginning at the junction of Highway 68 and 641 in Draffenville on April 25th, 1988. It seated 20 to 25 folks in a Quonset hut. The next year it was expanded and The Opry now seats over 500 in new, wider, comfortable chairs added last year.

Tickets available at the Kentucky Opry website
