A shopping center projected to create 250 jobs in Hopkinsville is on schedule for completion.
Chris Hake is the regional director of Thompson Thrift Retail Group, the development and construction company overseeing the operation. Hake said the 200,000 square-foot Hopkinsville Towne Center has leased twelve spaces in the new complex, and has four spots remaining.
“It’s already all designed,” Hake said. “It’s all permitted. It’s just continuing with the process of finishing up the shell of the building and then moving on to the build-outs required by each specific tenant.”
The center off of Fort Campbell Boulevard will feature a Hobby Lobby, Pets Mart and Hibbett Sports. Completion is anticipated by late July to early August.
