Many routine cancer screenings have been postponed during the pandemic. But the director of the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute’s Leukemia program and author Dr. Mikkael Sekeres notes that ER and primary care doctors are missing some cancers because symptoms such as fatigue, sore throat and cough are mistaken for COVID-19.
