The Kentucky Board of Education presented today a state award for educational and business leadership to Robbie Rudolph of far west Kentucky.
The KBA gives the Joseph W. Kelly Award to businesspeople who show leadership skills and value promoting school improvement across Kentucky.
Rudolph is the founder of the Four Rivers Foundation, designed to improve student success in many schools including Fulton Independent, the Fulton County Technology Center and other schools in Fulton, Hickman, and Carlisle County.
Rudolph also partners with technical centers, West Kentucky Work Ready Skills Initiative and the New Skills for Youth Cohort II in order to offer more dual credit and work opportunities for students.
The award is named for former KBE chair Joe Kelly.
