Site Selection via Facebook

Two communities in far west Kentucky have made an international business magazine’s list of Top Micropolitans in 2016.

Site Selection magazine lists Mayfield 18th and Madisonville 78th on a list highlighting business growth. Paducah also ranked 10th in total projects along the Mississippi River Corridor. Kentucky ranked second in the nation in economic development projects per capita and seventh in total projects.

According to the governor’s office, Kentucky announced more than 310 new location and expansion projects last year. The projects are expected to create more than 16,000 jobs and more than three-point-one billion dollars in investment.
