KSP Asks Kentuckians For Vote In 'Best Looking Cruiser' Contest

Kentucky State Police

The Kentucky State Police is vying for the title of America’s best looking police cruiser, and the agency is asking Kentuckians for help.

The American Association of State Troopers annually challenges state law enforcement agencies to submit photos of patrol vehicles to the nationwide competition. The top 12 vote-getters will be featured in the association’s 2021 wall calendar.

Kentucky’s entry features a KSP Dodge Charger parked on the Oakley C. Collins Memorial Bridge in Greenup County. Kentucky placed third in the 2019 contest after winning in 2018.

Kentucky's 2018 "Best Looking Cruiser" entry featured a KSP Dodge Charger with the State Capitol in the background. The photo received the most votes in the competition.

“It’s fitting to feature the KSP cruiser at one of the most beautiful entrances into Kentucky,” said Sergeant Josh Lawson. “This contest will be a close one and we hope our citizens will vote to ensure the Commonwealth and our agency will be represented on the 2021 calendar.”

Vote for the commonwealth’s cruiser in the “Best Looking Cruiser” contest here. Voting ends Tuesday, July 21.
