According to a release from KSP, the home on Will Jackson Road was fully engulfed in flames when Trigg-Lyon County fire departments arrived on scene. Responders found a body after extinguishing the fire. The Trigg County Coroner removed the body and scheduled an autopsy with the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for Friday morning.

KSP reported a state fire marshal from Bowling Green met with detectives at the scene and ruled the cause of fire “undetermined.” An investigation led by KSP Detective Cory Jessup is ongoing.
