Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has named Kyle Poat Chief District Engineer for District One.
Poat follows Mike McGregor who spent 24-years in transportation and retires at the end of this month.
Poat most recently served as Project Development & Preservation Engineer. He has been involved with the construction of the new Tennessee River Bridge at Ledbetter, the new Eggners Ferry Bridge over Kentucky Lake and the new Lake Barkley Bridge at Canton.
Most recently, Poat supervised reconstruction and upgrades to the I-24/I-69 interchange near Calvert City.
