The Marshall County Parks Department is looking for a new director.
The post is now vacant after director Larry Whitt submitted his resignation last week.
Parks board member Trent Lovett says the job will be listed in local newspapers and online in the next couple of weeks.
The department’s focus is the management of Draffenville’s Mike Miller Park and a few smaller areas and boat launches. Benton and Calvert City's parks are handled by those city governments.
