The City of Paducah will have two new commissioners: Brenda McElroy and Gerald Watkins.

Sarah Stewart Holland was unseated. Richard Abraham and Sandra Wilson retained their seats. McElroy said in an October debate she wants the city to have jobs and the public amenities that come with it.

Watkins served on the commission for three terms from 2007 to 2012 until he was elected to serve in the state House of Representatives. Holland was elected to the city commission in 2016. Commissioner Allan Rhodes said in May he was not running for re-election.
