MSU Music Dept. Presents 'The Magic Flute'

MSU's Music Department presents Mozart's The Magic Flute in an adaptation for young audiences Saturday, November 10, and Sunday, November 11, with shows at 2 and 6 p.m. both days in Performing Arts Hall of Old Fine Arts across from Waterfield Library. Director Dr. Christopher Mitchell visited Sounds Good Wednesday with MSU students who are performing in the opera: Grace Lauzon (Pamina/1st Lady) and Michael Martin (Papageno/Sarastro). They agree that truth telling is the most powerful message from the music, written for its first performance on September 30, 1791.
