All Murray State University campuses will present a one hour Continuing Legal Education class on trademark law. Through a Video Conference originating from MSU Paducah's campus, students and community members alike can learn more about e-commerce, trademark legalities, and earn CLE credit from the Kentucky Bar Association.
Trademark Truths: Trading in Your Misconceptions will be presented by Paducah attorney, Julie Tennyson. Tennyson has practiced in Kentucky for almost ten years, seven of which were with a mid-size insurance defense firm. She also worked for four years in Atlanta, GA at two international law firms practicing exclusively patents, trademarks, and copyright law. After law school, Tennyson clerked for U.S. District Judge Thomas B. Russell in the Western district of Kentucky. Tennyson is a Registered Patent attorney with experience in Trademarks, Copyrights, and Trade Secrets. She also has experience in Probate, Corporate, and Litigation.
Those running their own business, potential or current trademark holders, those participating in e-commerce or social media publications, or attorneys looking to earn a Continued Legal Education credit should consider attending this one hour course.
