A Murray man will help recommend appointments to various state boards and commissions in Gov. Andy Beshear’s administration.
John McConnell will serve as executive director of the commonwealth’s Office of Boards and Commissions. McConnell’s responsibilities will include advising Beshear on appointments to hundreds of positions on boards and commissions at every level of state government.
Beshear in a tweet said McConnell will be a “real asset” to his team.
McConnell currently serves as President and CEO of McConnell Insurance in Murray.
