The Murray-Calloway County Parks and Recreation board has tabbed the executive director of the local chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates as its next director.
The board unanimously approved Lindsey Harlan at its meeting earlier this week. Former parks director Tab Brockman took over similar duties in Hopkinsville last month.
Board chairman Jason Lovett says Harlan’s first day on the job is tentatively set for November 9.
Meanwhile, with Harlan’s departure from CASA by the Lakes, that nonprofit organization begins its own search for a new executive director, with applications accepted through November 2.
