Murray State Professor Elected to Phi Kappa Phi Board of Directors

Murray State University journalism professor Dr. MelonyShemberger is now on the board of directors for The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Shemberger, who is vice president of Murray State's Phi Kappa Phi chapter, is the firstMurray State chapter member to serve on the society's national board. Phi Kappa Phi is a national honor society that promotes excellence. Shemberger was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi in April 2010 and has also served as the society's public relations officer.
 
Shemberger is a life member of Phi Kappa Phi.

Ebony Clark is a student at Murray State University majoring in computer science. She was born in Brownsville, Tennessee. Ebony has served as a reporter for 4-H congress in Nashville, TN where she spoke with several state leaders and congressmen. Ebony enjoys writing poetry and spoken word and competed in Tennessee's Poetry Out Loud competition hosted by the arts council in Nashville,TN.
