The Department of Homeland Security has awarded a contract of $95,290 to Murray State University’s Telecommunications Systems Management.
The program is tasked with developing precision timing requirements in the mobile communications sector. In a news release, TSM director Michael Ramage said the results "could impact our nation for decades to come."
The contract through the National Institute of Homeland Security is part of a larger DHS effort to understand how how infrastructure sectors depend on GPS for positioning, navigation and timing.
