Murray State University is expanding a tuition assistance program statewide starting this Fall.
First-time freshman and new transfer students across Kentucky are eligible for the Murray State Promise tuition program.
The program provides scholarships to students whose Pell Grants, College Access Program Grants and Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarships don’t meet tuition costs.
This is an expansion of the university’s Racer Promise program that had previously been offered to students living within the school’s 18-county service region.
The program is only available beginning with the fall semester of each academic year.
