Murray State University Recognized By Washington Monthly, Money In College Rankings

Washington Monthly has placed Murray State University as the top public institution in Kentucky in its “Best Bang for the Buck” category. And among public institutions in the state offering masters degrees, Murray State ranked the highest and had the highest graduation rate.

In that category the school also had the lowest net price for families earning below $75,000 dollars per year and the best research score ranking. Criteria included those centered on social mobility, student body demographics, affordability and median graduate earnings.

 

Berea University in Kentucky ranked first overall in the magazine’s “Best Bang for the Buck'' category for institutions in the South.

 

Money also named Murray State to their “2020 Best Colleges” list, ranking the university as the number one regional public institution in the state. The list includes more than 700 universities across the country.
