The National Weather Service in Paducah is predicting a stormy start to Memorial Day weekend. NWS says the skies should clear by Monday.
Saturday afternoon and evening has the potential for strong to severe storms with a chance of very large hail, damaging winds and possible tornadoes. Also, a chance of persistent heavy rains could lead to flash flooding.
Memorial Day will have mostly sunny skies and highs near 80.
