Rand Paul In Western Kentucky as Part of 'Coal Tour'

Republican Senator Rand Paul is making campaign stops in western Kentucky today as part of a 'coal tour.' Closed meetings this morning in Henderson and Morganfield are followed by public meet and greets this afternoon in Madisonville and Muhlenberg County. 

Paul is up for re-election to the U.S. Senate and faces Democratic challenger Lexington Mayor Jim Gray.

Here are the public stops this afternoon:

  • Madisonville Meet & Greet, 1 p.m., Country Cupboard - 581 McCoy Ave., Madisonville
  • Muhlenberg County Meet & Greet, 2:30 p.m., Catfish Dock - 2003 W. Everly Brothers Blvd, Powderly
Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007.
